Today, my brother, Tyler Dane Sutton, premiered his latest film that he has been working on for the last few years, in London, England, UK.
I remember him working on his first full-length film when he was still in high school, and he would come home at 2 AM nearly every night his senior year. In the last year or so, when I would call home to check in on everyone, he was almost always working and collaborating with his friends to get this new film finished—all in his free time.
It's hard for me to think of a person who is so dedicated to their passion the way Tyler is to filmmaking. If you know him, you know what I mean.
The first film he worked on, nearly packed the theater at its premiere back in 2012. I remember it wasn't easy to convince the community to watch a locally made 90-minute horror film, but the community was intrigued, and it went far better than expected.
Now, the latest film he's worked on, "CREEPING DEATH," has played on the IMAX screen at Cineworld Leicester Square, a theater in the heart of London, during this year's FrightFest. Absolutely wild.
Dude, I wish I could attend the premiere of each of your films to witness everyone's initial reactions. One of the best feelings in the world, after creating something, is releasing it and seeing the initial reactions of what others think of it. However, I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to watch it ahead of everyone else while visiting LA with you, Matt, and Jarad last month.
Your passion is proof that working hard, dedicating your effort, and following your heart truly pays off. Congratulations to you, Matt, and everyone else who worked on the film. Looking forward to seeing its continued success.
Whenever it becomes available to watch, I encourage everyone to check it out!
